Why Am I Being Rehomed?

In 2010, I was about to be dropped off at the shelter, but someone who was on their way in to get a cat took me before I could be admitted. I was taken as a gift for an elderly family member. After a couple days, the elderly family member did not want me anymore.

The "gifter", left me with another family member instead of properly rehoming me or taking me to the shelter. The person I was left with was young, didn't have a car and didn't feel right about leaving me at the shelter and reluctantly kept me, not knowing what else to do.

It has taken her a long time, but she realized she is not doing me any favors by keeping me in a home that is not meeting my emotional or mental needs. I'm a cat stuck in a dog lovers home.

Foster or Adopt

You can adopt me and keep me furever. My current owners are also open to temporary fosters for a lonely senior and would be willing to take me back if needed.
